Jesus was born in a stable and laid in a manger so that the ENTIRE World could have access to Him! If He had been born in a palace He would have been so closely guarded that no one, at least not the poor, would have been allowed to Worship Him.
Jesus came to earth as a humble baby...
So that poor Shepherds could joyfully gaze upon his face.
So that wealthy Wise Men could freely worship the newborn King.
So that a Guiding Star could witness to the world of His Majesty!
Come let us join in the True Spirit of Christmas!
Shepherds - The Spirit of Joy: Luke 2:8-17
We can share the Spirit of Joy every day! Isa 12:2, 3 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Psa 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
The Wise Men - The Spirit of Worship & Giving: Matthew 2:1,2, 11
We can share the Spirit of Worship and Giving every day! Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Col 3:16, 17 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
The Guiding Star - The Spirit of Witness: Matthew 2:9,10
We can share the Spirit of Witness every day! Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mat 28:19, 20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
