Did satan realize that every time he caused a stripe to be cut into Jesus' back that those stripes provided for my healing?

If you play with darkness, one day you will look EVIL in the eye and won't be able to do a thing about it. When you fast and pray, you cease to play with darkness...you rebuke it and cast it out. "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." Matthew17:21

One neglectful generation is all it takes to completely lose the next.

Christ loved so much that he suffered 3 nails, 40 lashes, a pierced side, a crown of thorns, and a crucifixion for us. So, why am I told that I don't show love when I say that the blood of Jesus has the power to help us live sin-free every day?

Modern Pharisees are religious leaders who through their covetousness make merchandise of your soul; preaching loopholes into God’s laws which do not exist. Money changers who exchange lies for profits, crying “Plant your seed, send your us your $$ so that God may prosper you.” (tax & shipping not included:)

God did not create His commandments with exceptions. He did not say "Thou shalt not commit adultery except when this occurs. Thou shalt not covet, except in this instance. Thou shalt have no other gods before me except when this happens." Nor did He say "Let not man put asunder except in this situation" either. Jesus, the Lawgiver said, "From the beginning it was not so."

The OSAS doctrine trivializes sin to portray it as unavoidable. The sin of Gluttony is not simple over-eating. It is the spirit of never "having enough", hence "glutton for punishment". Gluttonous eating was deliberate sensuous, riotous feasting lasting for days where the "haves" glutted, threw up, and refilled themselves...while the "have-nots" starved in famine on their very doorsteps.

When we crank our car, we expect it to start, and are surprised if it doesn't.
When we pray to God, we are often surprised that He answers us.
Does that mean that we trust our car battery more than we trust God?
