The happiest church members are those who are busy working for the Lord, building the Kingdom, and feeding The Church of God. The unhappiest are those who don't.

The Ark didn't prevent Noah from preaching to the lost, it protected him from the floods of destruction. Sheep Folds didn't imprison the sheep, it protected them from being devoured by wolves. The Church of God doesn't prevent outreach, she protects us from the destructive floods of error. The One Fold doesn't imprison the sheep, she protects us from being being lost and devoured by the enemy.

Jesus didn't come to set us free from God's commands or liberate us IN our sins. He died to set us free FROM sin and liberate us from death, hell, and the grave.

When you experience salvation, you will be changed. In fact, you must be changed. You are rescued from darkness and death and born again into marvelous light and life. If a change to God's goodness is not wrought in your life, you are not saved. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2Co 5:17 KJV)
Your old tastes don't taste good anymore. Your old habits distress you. Your old thoughts are repugnant to you. Your heart, mind and soul now craves holiness. You will crave God's Word. You will crave communion with God in prayer. You will crave the fellowship of other Christians. The world has become distasteful and the things of God more satisfying.
Your Christ-like cravings will become so strong that you cry out for deliverance from the old man. You long for holiness and complete separation from your old self. Your soul now aches for purity. To remain saved in this unholy world, you MUST be sanctified. It is a necessity and a requirement for Holy LIVING.

Even if we, like the Disciples, were Saved, Sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost in separate time increments. We cannot backslide in increments. We can't lose the Holy Ghost and still be Saved & Sanctified. We can't become unsanctified and still remain Saved. We can only grow in the Lord, we cannot "un-grow".

Love ALL of it. My favorites are the statements about who's happy and who's not (it's the non-involved ones who aren't happy and make the most noise complaining about EVERYTHING), and the statements concerning the safety of TCOG. AMEN!
