Sometimes a line drawn in the sand is a good thing:
1. Good Line: When we tell Satan - you cannot cross this line...come no further. Especially the blood line of Jesus Christ.
However, a line in the sand is very wrong when...
1. WE draw it between us and God.
2. We will not cross over the lines drawn by Satan who is trying to stop us
3. We will not cross over the lines drawn by God to test us and try us. (think Abraham and Isaac)
If we believe a simple line in the sand is not important...then just remember that a simple sandbar in the midst of a deep and wide ocean can shipwreck an ocean liner.
What’s my line? Do I have a line drawn in the sand?
WHAT DOES OFFENDED MEAN?
That YOU have allowed someone to SET A TRAP for YOU, to turn TRIP YOU UP so that YOU turn your back on Jesus Christ.
But what if I'm the innocent party??? If all it takes to turn you from God is abusive people, then the devil will certainly put those people in your path. MAKE UP YOUR MIND NOT TO BE OFFENDED.
From that time many of his disciples went back, (because of unbelief) and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. (Joh 6:66-68 KJV)
Let’s face it, we’re going to get beaten up in this world by satan and by even those we love. Christ did. What
do we do when times get really hard?
When we face each line drawn in the sand, let us be careful to not repent of of our Covenant.
A line in the sand is so easy to overcome if we catch hold of the scarlet bloodline of Grace that comes straight from the veins of Jesus Christ.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Rev 12:11 KJV)
