What To Do?

When tempted to sin...

We can say like Joseph,

"How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God"

When in the valley of decision...

We can say like Joshua,

"But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

When faced with a great obstacle...

We can say like Caleb,

"Now therefore give me the mountain."

When faced with a Satanic enemy...

We can say like David,

"Thou comest to me with a sword and with a spear and with a shield,

but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of Host, the God of the Armies of Isreal, who thou has defied."

When faced with a fiery trial...

We can say like the 3 Hebrew Children,

"Our God, whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand...But if not, be it known unto thee...that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou has set up."

When faced with persecution...

We can say like Daniel,

"My God hath sent his angel and hath shut the Lions mouth".

When faced with Death...

We can say like Job,

"Though he slay me, yet will I trust him."

When standing before the throne of God...

We can shout with the multitude, crying "Blessing, and honour, and glory,and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever."
