Thank the Lord he protected my parents, Lae & Chris (and my parent's home) from a house fire early this morning (3:00am). The fire was contained to a small area, and they are all safe and sound this morning.
They have all inhaled a good bit of smoke, so pray for their lungs (especially Dad's) and all their allergies.

We will be praying. Do they know what caused the fire? Are you children and parents okay?
Light fixture wiring in the linen closet that caused a small fire in the ceiling/attic, and then burned the closet. The ceilings are all rough hewn cypress so it burned slower than a normal ceiling would.
All are okay. Just a lot of frightening excitement at 3:00am and breathing in smoke. Pray for all of them to have no lasting ill effects, especially Dad.
Mom & Dad are now feelings the effects of all that excitement...so remember them in prayer. Alaena said that Dad's hip is sore from falling while fighting the fire and he broke a toe. Keep them all in your prayers.
So sorry to hear this, but THANK GOD for protecting them! We'll be praying.
