That's what this altar is for...

I was determined to purchase an altar for our Children's Church area. A simple bench seemed to be priced at over $100, and we discussed someone at church making one, figuring it would cost about half that since wood has gotten so expensive. However, someone finding the time to do that was the real problem. However, I walked into Ross and there was a simple wooden bench, just sitting there and the thot came to me..."There is your altar" and it cost less than $50.

Yesterday was the first Sunday that we had Children's Church with our new altar. At the end of class, we were taking some prayer requests and the children asked "Can we pray at the altar?"

These children just didn't realise how much that request blessed me...and I really needed a blessing that morning.

My prayer this year is that all my children remember what the altar is for and desire to use it.

Neat testimony. May this group of children grow in grace and mature in spiritual stature! Praise God for your altar find!
