Good Grief!

We spent two days getting ready for our Sunday School Campaign! We spent all day yesterday working on the decorations, puppet, etc. And guess what we woke up to!! (Well, we actually received a phone call at 5:30 am from my 90 year old mother in law who thought it was never too early to call and tell us it was snowing!) Then there were 6:30 calls from our Pastor to tell us there would be no church today. (However, the Methodist across the street went to church ;) :) The snow just dusted the ground really well (probably 1/2 inch or less). The streets weren't shut down. When we finally got back to sleep...we slept in until 10:30 and then realized that our electricity was off. We ate cereal for breakfast...used the hot water left in our electric water heater for hot showers and then fixed our hair as best we could...and went in search for food. By the time Noon rolled around the snow had stopped, the sun came out and we were driving around. We ate Mexican food by 1:00 and then went to visit our resident 90 year old weather alert system. ;) :) By then, the snow was all gone...melted in the sun. We shopped a little and have come home to electricity! We'll start the Sunday School crusade next Sunday after the District Convention on Saturday. Here are some of the pix.
